Knysak Wedding

Paul and I went to a wedding this past weekend and left Grant WITHOUT A PARENT for the first time. I was very excited about getting a good nights sleep..........not so much........I ended up waking up every so often in our hotel room because I thought I heard the "baby". So much for sleeping in! Paul's friend Michael and his now wife Amanda had a BEAUTIFUL wedding in Rockford, IL. Here are some pictures from the wedding.............

Giant City Lodge June 17-19, 2008

I already sent an e-mail out with pictures, but I thought I would add pictures from the trip to the blog as well. (This will give me some practice at operating this thing). Paul, Grant, and I traveled down to Carbondale & Giant City Lodge for a small vacation this year. We walked around SIU, ate at Quatros, and stayed at a cabin out at Giant City. There we went on trails, visited the stables, toured the new visitor center museum, played at the park, and went swimming. We had a nice little get away.

Ok, I will try out one of these blog spot things. After harassment from my friends, I decide to try one of these things out for awhile to see if I like it better than myspace. So here goes nothing..........
