Grant at Norah's Birthday Party

Grant took a liking to one of Norah's new toys --- this little guitar.
He took it everywhere with him. Let's keep in mind, it is not even his.

He would not let anyone else play with it. This girl is around 3 year old and Grant was trying to take it away from her.

He also enjoyed chewing on it. Typical Grant.

Grant Walking

He is actually walking much better than shown in these videos. In these videos he is walking a little stiff and funny looking, that is why I enjoy them! He has smoothed out the walk a little since I took these clips --but it is still a 'little' choppy.

He follows me around the house. It kind of weirds me out that he can do that! These videos are cute shots of him 'getting the hang of it'!

Some recent pics .........

Grant with some juice spilled on this pants.
This is the "I'm coming to get you!" look.

The infamous car. He cries when you try to take him out of it. He wants to spend all day in it. I have to hide it in other rooms so he doesn't have a come apart because I am not going to push him around in it ALL DAY. He opens the door, climbs in, then shuts the door all by himself. Then sits there and stares at you waiting for you to push him.

Grant and Norah at the Mall

Here is a short clip of Grant and his friend Norah at the mall. Norah's mom Ashley and I met up there on MLK Day. We spent the day shopping and walking around. Grant napped, ate lunch, ate snacks, and enjoyed stroller time.

My Baby is WALKING!

Grant started walking full steam ahead this past week. WOW. That is a shock to the system as a mother. I had a feeling he would be walking before his first birthday.......but I was in no hurry for it to happen as usual.

Watching a baby walk for the first time sends this rush of mixed emotions through me.....first I am SO EXCITED HE DID IT, then I feel nausea come over me because my baby is growing up so fast, next comes the heart attack feeling as he looses his balance and falls over.............wow. That is a lot to handle in a 10 second time span.

Video of him walking to come soon!

Happy Feet

We sometimes call Grant "Happy Feet" because he would kick and play a ton when he was little bitty and still always wants to go go go go. He loves hide-n-seek with his blankey. Bear with me in this video as I try to play with him one handed since I am also trying to video.
