My Grant.

With my daily posts on Garrett, I feel that Grant really deserves an update. He has been a wonderful boy lately! He has had the chance to see his baby brother twice since the RSV restriction was lifted from the NICU. This upcoming weekend he will be the ring bearer in his Uncle Ben’s wedding. He is VERY EXCITED about that. We will see if he walks down the aisle or not.

Grant was the first child that became the love of my life. He taught me to be a mother. He was a very understanding and easy baby. In some way, I am sure Grant helped prepare me for what I have to deal with every day with Garrett. Grant loves school. He goes 5 days a week for a half day. Grant would live outside if I let him. He is a very good boy and sometimes too smart for his own good. Though I love him dearly, he has a MAJOR stubborn streak like nothing I have ever seen. My mother tells me he has met his match with me however. And I would have to agree with her.

Grant enjoys sneaking into bed with his parents, especially when it storms out. His favorite color is blue……specifically NAVY blue. He is the pickiest eater ever. He lives on hot dogs and mac n cheese. Ridiculous.

He LIVES for playing with hotwheels, play doh, and anything truck/tractor/train/emergency vehicle related. He LOVES Mickey Mouse Playhouse. When he is not playing with his toys he can usually be found tormenting the dog, trying to sneak some chips or chocolate out of the kitchen, riding a trike in the driveway, jumping on his bed, or doing other 3 year old ‘boy’ things like collecting bugs. He is a joy to be around, just ask his mother ;)
