Easter at Mimi Vicky & Papa Chuck's

Easter Morning

Grant asked the Easter Bunny for M & M's and Hershey Kisses in his eggs.  The bunny had to hide them in the house; way too wet outside!  Took some time away from the hospital this morning to spend some time with my baby number one. :)

Then Grant and I made a giant easter egg rice krispy treat!  He loves to cook.

What is Grant up to?

Some of you may be wondering what our family has been up to besides our brand new addition, Garrett.  Well, here it is.  Papa Ed and Mimi Ellen have turned into entertainment for Grant.  Papa Chuck and Mimi Vicky also have their fair share of Grant-ter-tainment as well.  We are very lucky to have such a great, supportive family.  Having such a great family has taken one less burden off of us.  While Paul and I spend time at the hospital with Garrett, we know Grant is getting LOTS OF ATTENTION.  No worries about from mom n dad also, Grant still gets to see us both everyday to get some lovin from.

Flower Child

This evening I sat outside with Grant so he could play.  He picked flowers for me, so cute :)  I snapped a few shots by one of our bushes that had pretty blooms.

Oh Chuck E..........as in Cheese........

9 months pregnant, this is a great angle for a picture apparently...

Giddy Up!

If Grant tries riding Princess like this he may end up on the other side of Flora.

Grant's Big Boy Room

Grant's room is finally put together.  The only final touch it needs is a few more things on the walls.  This is a low priority item at this point.  When I see something that goes I will pick it up; be it this week or 6 months from now.  Everything else is complete.  I finally sold my grandparents large dresser that was sitting in his new room.  So that freed up the space to get the TV/TV stand set up and train table moved in.  Grant was SO EXITED!  Here are a few shots from tonight.

Here is the tv and tv stand.  I owe Paul big time.  The tv stand I picked out was RIDICULOUSLY time consuming to put together.  Once together it looked great though ;)  The drawers are a little sticky, but you get what you pay for.  And it was fairly inexpensive considering I know it will probably get colored on during the first week at our house.

Shot of Grant's closet.  I found these large red/navy bins for storage (top of closet).  I just LOVED THEM!

The blue walls and white trim turned out nice.  Grant also LOVES his peg hooks where he keeps his book bag and I hang his school clothes each day.

Lazy Weekend at the Caravia House

Grant napping.
 Looking at books with Daddy.

Even Scooter partook (if that is even a word) in the laziness.
