This post was written by Maddie's mother Lisa. I grew exceptionally close to Lisa during my pregnancy as Garrett and Maddie had the same configuration of organs. As most of you know, Maddie passed away due to CDH complications. This post really shows the reality of CDH. I thought it was really well written.
